Vistabeam is looking for an experienced ISP network engineer to join our Network Operations team. This job would be located in our Scottsbluff, Ne office.

Essential Job Duties
- Analyze and monitor the network for potential problem areas and create solutions to solve them
- Identify, plan, purchase, and maintain hardware needs managing lead times
- Coordinate and implement solutions using project management through the entire deployment process
- Coordinate and communicate with installation, infrastructure, and systems teams
- Report on network health and project progress and issues regularly
- Create and maintain detailed documentation on all deployed network solutions
- Maintain adequate software licenses for all core gear
- Regularly monitor financial costs and capacity on all backbone circuits
- Maintain arrangements and relationships with upstream IP transit providers
- Provide single point of contact duties for high-risk & service impacting events
- Follow the engineering process through gathering requirements, design, test, training, and deployment
Required Job Qualifications
- 3 or more years of network experience
- Leadership

- Troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Internet Routing Protocol – BGP
- IP Routing – OSPF
- Traffic Routing – MPLS, VPLS, VLAN Tagging
- Traffic Shaping – Preseem
