Through this unique partnership, we provide free internet access, computers, and technology support to help seniors stay connected with their loved ones, access essential services, and navigate the digital world. Whether it’s troubleshooting a device or learning how to video chat, we’re here to lend a helping hand whenever needed.

Veterans Discounts
We’re proud to support our veterans with a $5 monthly discount on their internet bill. It’s our way of saying thank you for your dedication.

Empowerment Center Locations
In February 2023, Vistabeam opened its first digital empowerment center in Torrington Wyoming. The establishment of the center has helped to serve our community in ways that were formerly impossible, and we were awarded the 2023 Cornerstone Award at the Broadband Communities Summit for this pioneering creation. We have since opened another location in Yuma, Colorado. All of our empowerment centers are open to everyone, regardless of whether they are Vistabeam customers. Services are offered free of charge.
Vistabeam’s Empowerment Centers offer workstations equipped with broadband-enabled computers for citizens to do tasks such as:
- Work on school assignments
- Connect with loved ones online
- Apply for jobs and build resumes

Partnering with Senior Centers
Enhancing access for older adults in partnership with local senior centers in Gering, Nebraska, and Chappell, Nebraska! Vistabeam is expanding digital inclusion by providing broadband services, technology access, and support for seniors. We understand the unique challenges older adults face in adopting new technologies.
Our partnerships include:
- Providing free internet service, along with a computer and desk, to Senior Centers within our serviceable footprint.
- Offering workshops that teach digital literacy and help seniors navigate online resources, from paying bills to attending virtual doctor’s appointments.

School Contributions & Sponsorships
Vistabeam is dedicated to supporting the next generation through contributions and sponsorships for local schools within our service areas. Whether through providing technology, sponsoring events, or participating in educational programs, we believe in investing in the future of our communities.

Giving Back to Those Who Serve
To show our gratitude for those who have served our country, we offer special discounts on broadband services to Veterans and Seniors. This initiative is our way of saying “thank you” and ensuring that these deserving groups can stay connected to the world around them.
Senior Discount:
- $5/month discount for customers 60 years and older.
Veteran Discount:
- $5/month discount for verified veterans who have served in the military (active duty, reserves, or National Guard).
Stacking Discount:
- Customers who qualify for both Senior and Veteran discounts can combine them for a total of $10/month.

Participation in the US Government Lifeline Program And Recevie an additional $5 off
Vistabeam proudly participates in the Lifeline Program, a federal initiative that helps lower-income households access essential phone and broadband services at discounted rates. This program plays a critical role in ensuring that all families, regardless of financial circumstance, have access to digital tools necessary for education, healthcare, and communication. Those customers applying for and qualifying for the Lifeline discount will receive an additional $5 off from Vistabeam.
