In December of 2020, Vistabeam upgraded its internet services in the community of Deuel County, Nebraska. The undertaking lasted six months, and its prompt completion was largely due to the help of Patrick Ningen. He provided invaluable support in Vistabeam’s efforts to secure funding from the CARES Act for Deuel County, Nebraska. The grant sped the completion of a project that would otherwise have taken at least three years to complete. The investment made towards internet access in Deuel County totaled $136,878. 

Thanks to the endeavors of local Patrick Ningen – who is the superintendent at the Creek Valley Schools – the community of Deuel County, Nebraska, gained fast and reliable internet service. As such, Vistabeam has awarded Patrick with the Broadband Champion Award, designated for his commitment to ensuring the availability of quality broadband internet in Deuel County, Nebraska.
