HOW DO I SIGN UP?
You can request a site survey online. Or you can call us at 308-635-9434. We’ll check your location to determine if you are a good candidate for our service and setup a time to install your internet connection.
HOW LONG ARE YOUR CONTRACTS?
Vistabeam plans require a two year contract and the service is charged month-to-month. If you would prefer to forego the annual contract, we can do that with a higher installation fee. Let us know and we will calculate the installation cost for you.
DO YOU OFFER EMAIL ACCOUNTS?
Yes we do. You can have up to 2-5 vistabeam.com email accounts depending on your internet plan.
WHAT DOES THE INSTALL INCLUDE AND INVOLVE?
Our installation professionals will determine the best location and position for your antenna (usually on your roof). This is connected through an exterior wall to your Vistabeam supplied POE via cable. This will be done as close to your primary computer or router as possible and includes a run of approximately 15 feet of cable once inside.

HOW MUCH IS THE INSTALLATION COST?
$199 for installation (there may be additional charges depending on the complexity of your install or without a contract.)
ARE THERE OTHER CHARGES?
There are no other charges associated with your plan, but we do recommend that you add our $5/mo maintenance plan that includes wire replacement, replacement of radio and up to two service calls per year.
WHAT ABOUT MY WIRELESS ROUTER?
Our installation technicians are not authorized to work on routers that we do not provide. We provide managed routers for an additional $6/mo.
DO I NEED A MANAGED ROUTER PLAN?
We suggest getting a managed router if you’d like to have wireless service in your house, if you are unfamiliar with setting a wireless router up, or if you are going to have multiple devices accessing the internet connection in your home.
CAN I SWITCH PLANS?
Sure thing. In many cases, you can upgrade your speed by calling our office. Sometimes, we may have to upgrade your equipment or your location may have some limitations on speed packages.
WHAT IF I REQUIRE SPECIAL AESTHETIC OR WIRING CONSIDERATIONS?
Everyone’s home and install is different. We always strive to install your equipment in the most tidy and effective manner. Communicate with us on your needs and we will do our best to meet them. If you need additional work beyond the basic install, we charge $80/hour for wiring services.
WHAT IS MEANT BY UNLIMITED?
This means we don’t have data caps or track how much bandwidth our customers use. We do monitor for excessive throughput that may compromise the health or integrity of customer connections. Regular users do not need to worry about this. Sometimes, our detection will indicate that you may have been infected with a virus that is taxing your connection. Either way, we will contact you if this becomes a concern.
